White Labs Tasting Room and Tours to be added to our services

If you want to become the perfect Beer Nerd.. This is the place to go where the actual micro breweries get their yeast!  Yeast is such an important element to making beer that if it did not exist San Diego and the USA would not be so blessed with its craft breweries.  

A little about White Labs in San Diego: 

White Labs Inc. Pure Yeast and Fermentation team members have been active in the American and worldwide craft brewing movements since the 1980s. The company, which has grown to include offices in California and Colorado, provides a wealth of services to not only brewers but also winemakers, distillers and others in the fermentation business. The company was founded by Chris White in 1995, and he and Lisa White, his ex-wife, run the company from the San Diego headquarters location. Below is a brief description of numerous company employees.

The White Labs Tasting Room, featuring beers created on site, is receiving rave reviews. The lineup of experimental beers changes regularly and features brews created with different yeasts and different brewing and fermentation techniques. The custom-built tasting room features up to 32 beers on tap and 3 on cask.

Hours: Monday-Saturday: noon to 8 p.m. (Special hours for White Labs Day, see news item above)

Tours: Tours are available regularly and/or by special request. 

San Diego Brew Tours will take you to White Labs and guarantee you the best time in our tours.
